I love the concept of this company and I am 100% on board with the company\u2019s vision and mission. 100% Australian-owned, Lucent Globe was founded with one goal. To provide Australians with products that are environmentally friendly and of the highest quality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The identical twin founders were born and bred on the Gold Coast and have a passion for their community and environment. Through their travels, they witnessed the horrible pollution issues around the world and wondered how they could make a difference. So, by starting small, they launched a product that is used in our everyday lives but is a huge source of plastics and pollution \u2013 laundry and dishwashing detergents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tested both the Dishwashing detergent sheets (fresh lemon fragrance) 80 loads per box and the Laundry detergent sheets (Ocean breeze fragrance) 80 washes per box. The cost is reasonable, at $28.49 per box or, if purchased in bulk, discounts are applied to make it as little as 30 cents per wash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the dishwashing detergent worked very well, even on greasy pots and pans, and the fragrance was lovely and not overpowering. The laundry detergent I found needed more sheets than the recommended dosage, as I do have sporty teenagers and their clothes after training are pretty revolting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I took these products away on a family camping trip and they were extremely convenient to travel with. Whilst I appreciate the packaging is made from 100% recyclable cardboard, this was a bit of an issue when packing and unpacking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the end of our camping trip, the box was extremely damaged and, as I kept the laundry sheets with the \u201cdirty clothes\u201d basket, the box inevitably got wet and mushy with damp rash shirts or beach towels being thrown into the washing basket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, if you\u2019re looking for an effective and environmentally friendly solution to washing, I would recommend these awesome Lucent Globe products. On the next camping trip, I\u2019ll just make sure they are stored in a dry bag or carry box.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
